Our fine Southern Cypress is procured from the Southeastern Atlantic and Gulf states region. Kiln dried between 10% and 12% moisture content , this is considered a "finish" grade, suitable for both exterior and interior applications and ready to accept a finish.

Knotty Pine is available in either Yellow or White, subject to availability. Kiln Dried to 8% moisture content , Knotty Pine siding should be finished prior to exposing to the elements.

Finishing Cypress Recommendations

Flitch Sawn siding (and paneling) with bark on edges in wide random widths. Applied as Log Cabin with chinking or Wavy Edge (Rusticated Lap).

Available in Log Run (non-graded) Tulip Poplar, Knotty White Pine or Knotty Yellow Pine. Considered a finish grade, our flitch sawn siding is kiln dried and conditioned to 8% moisture content.

Please note that this is a specialty, milled to order product requiring 4-6 weeks manufacturing lead-time.

Coverage note: Board Ft and Square Ft is the same If applying as log cabin style with chinking.

Wavy Edge (Rusticated Lap) will require 35% to 50% additional material allowance to accommodate lap variances in individual boards.
