Our #2 and Better Common grade Cypress reveals a genuine color
blending of both heartwood and sapwood, providing
warmth and charm perfectly suited for most any casual or
country setting. Natural character variations are considered
attributes of this historic and economical grade.
The
Common Grade contains approximately 35% individually
hand-selected character which may include natural
color variations, mainly sound knots, worm holes, mineral
discolorations, and/or other non-structural type
of naturally
occurring character.

TinyTIMBERS Select Grade displays the most refined
beauty the cypress wood has to offer. Crafted from the
highest grade of cypress, the Select grade provides a
consistent and harmonious appearance, virtually free of
mineral discolorations, and other natural variations,
excepting an occasional small, sound knot.
The
Select grade is also recommended for use in applications
requiring longer lengths, clear of common defects.

You are welcome to request preferred lengths, at no additional
cost. We will keep your preferences in mind when pulling material
for your order. However, please note that specified lengths
are not available in T&G products.
Custom tongue & groove thicknesses from 1" to 1-3/4" are available
in selected products and patterns. Please call for pricing, availability
and specifications.
T&G Cypress is typically used in siding and solid wood paneling
applications, where longer lengths are typically preferred. For flooring applications,
End Matching is
available for an additional $.10 per square foot to our above
stated prices. Please specify "EM" when ordering.
The heartwood of cypress contains a natural preservative oil
which lends protective qualities against also performs
exceptionally well in exterior installations. oil based sealer,
such as WOODguard® or an oil based alkyd primer and high quality
100% resin acrylic/latex paint prior to exposing to wood to the
elements.

Wood is a natural product. Some variation in color
and grain pattern will occur between samples, images on this website,
photographs and any specific installation.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
Our fine cypress lumber is Kiln Dried & Conditioned between 10%
and 12% moisture content then precision milled to exact tolerances
- one order at a time.
Traditional, unfinished solid wood planks are hand selected and
optimized to accentuate the inherent natural character or clarity
of the wood and meet our strict grading standards.
Unless otherwise specified, paneling, siding, wainscot and other
T&G cypress products will be milled in 6' to 16' non-end matched,
untrimmed random lengths.
T&G cypress is available in your choice
of several patterns and products.
Individual bundles are hand wrapped 4-planks per stretch
wrapped bundle, nested and banded for shipment.
